Are you looking for something to do during half-term? Maybe you’re not working at the moment and are looking for ways to improve your skills and experiences for your CV?

Why not take advantage of one of our FREE training days as part of our Waterway Champions programme for people aged 16-25.

The short course will cover various aspects including site selection, health and safety, publicity and promotion and leadership – all highly valuable transferable skills. You’ll also get to meet other like-minded young people, and receive a certificate and t-shirt when you’ve completed the one-day course!

The course will be held at the RSPB reserve at Rainham Marshes. The training will be followed by a clean-up of the high-tide line at the reserve, where lots of litter accumulates. Please wear clothes appropriate to the weather and that you don't mind getting dirty. Safety boots and gloves will be provided.

Lunch is included and travel costs can be reimbursed, please keep your receipt.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
